Her husband built the original 25 years ago. Nothing in concrete just sitting on bricks. I can`t believe it lasted this long. He used drywall screws that had all rusted through on top and underneath was a bunch of random sized 2x6`s married together. ( I of course complimented her deceased husbands handywork) It was still solid enough to hold the 500 lbs of my son & I. Her daughter had us build her a new one for Mothers day

Today we did something different and special. A customer had a 1950s lamp from her nursery/ childhood that no longer worked.. we rewired it.. added new socket and cord and got it all new and rehabbed for her baby`s nursery. he`s due next month.. #familyheirlooms
